Ingredients
Scale
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves minced garlic
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 tablespoons fresh parsley
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) so it’s fully heated and ready for baking.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the 1/4 cup honey, 2 tablespoons olive oil, 3 cloves minced garlic, 1 teaspoon paprika, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon pepper, and 1 tablespoon lemon juice. Mix for about 1–2 minutes until everything is fully combined and the marinade looks smooth and glossy.
Place the cod fillets in a baking dish in a single layer. Pour the marinade evenly over the fish, making sure each piece is well coated.
Let the cod marinate at room temperature for 10 minutes to allow the flavors to soak in.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes, or until the cod is opaque in the center and flakes easily with a fork.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle with 2 tablespoons fresh parsley before serving for a fresh, bright finish.
