Tender, flaky salmon glazed with a vibrant citrus-soy sauce. Perfect for quick weeknight meals, this 4-ingredient recipe balances sweet, tangy, and savory flavors for a restaurant-quality dish.

Ingredients

Salmon fillets (skin on), 1 lb (4 4-ounce fillets)
1 large orange (for zest and juice)
Soy sauce, 3 Tbsp (use reduced sodium if preferred)
Honey, 2 Tbsp (or maple syrup)

Instructions

Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and fold up edges to create a rim.
Zest the entire orange, then juice both halves.
In a small bowl, whisk together orange juice, zest from one orange, soy sauce, and honey until smooth.
Place salmon on the prepared baking sheet. Brush half the glaze over the salmon. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the salmon is cooked through. Brush with remaining glaze and bake for 5 more minutes.

Notes

Bottled orange juice works if fresh is unavailable
Use tamari or coconut aminos for gluten-free alternative
Maple syrup is a great 1:1 honey substitute
Folded parchment creates a natural glaze catch basin
