Ingredients
1 pack buldak ramen (original, 2x spicy, or cheese flavor)
2 cups water
1 soft-boiled or fried egg (optional)
1 tablespoon chopped scallions
1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
Cooked protein (optional: chicken, tofu, or shrimp)
Optional veggies: mushrooms, bok choy, spinach, kimchi
Optional add-ons: shredded cheese, seaweed, chili oil, gochugaru
Instructions
1. Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a small pot.
2. Add ramen noodles and cook for 4–5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3. Drain most of the water, leaving 2–3 tablespoons in the pot.
4. Add the sauce packet and mix well over low heat for 1–2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the noodles.
5. Transfer to a bowl and top with your favorite add-ins: egg, protein, veggies, cheese, scallions, and sesame seeds.
6. Serve immediately and enjoy hot!
Notes
🌶 To reduce spice, stir in a splash of cream, milk, or crack a raw egg into the noodles while stirring.
🧀 Cheese-flavored buldak pairs perfectly with mozzarella or cheddar on top.
🥬 Add extra veggies like spinach, mushrooms, or bok choy for balance.
💧 Save a few tablespoons of the noodle water to help the sauce cling to the noodles.
